Two Men Arrested With 14 Sacks Containing Fake Ballot Papers In Kano
The Kano Police Command says it has arrested two suspects in possession of 14 bags of fake ballot papers in Kano state.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, who disclosed this to
newsmen, said the suspects were arrested with the fake ballot papers
around Metro Police Area Command on Wednesday night, February 13th.
Upon interrogation, the suspects said they were from Jigawa state and
were only going to sensitize the people in Kano on how to cast their
votes correctly during the elections.
Haruna added that investigation was still ongoing as the case had
since been transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Development
(CID).
