Ogenyi Onazi was on target as Lithuanian club Zalgiris Vilnius defeated Linfield of Ireland 2-1 in their UEFA Champions League Ist qualifying round second leg fixture at the Windsor Park, Belfast on Tuesday night, reports Completesports
Zalgiris Vilnius progressed into the second qualifying round 5-2 on aggregate.
Onazi scored Zalgiris’ second goal of the game one minute before the break following Saulius Mikoliunas’s 17th minute opener.
Chris Shields reduced the deficit for the hosts from the spot in the 66th minute.
Onazi was replaced in the 59th minute by Ovidijus Verbickas.
Zalgiris will face Norwegian club Ferencvaros in the next round.
The first leg is billed for the Groupama Arena, Budapest next week Tuesday.
