The second leg of the UEFA Champions League games began this week with 4 games played on Tuesday and Wednesday night, Four teams have progressed to the quarter finals.

On Tuesday night, Bayern Munich hosted Salzburg at the Allianz Arena. Bayern dominating the game from start to finish.
Robert Lewandowski opening the scoring early in the game and later finished with a first half hattrick, ex arsenal player Gnarby, Muller and Sane all found the back of the net as Bayern hammered the Austrian Champions 7-1 and 8-2 on aggregate.
In the other game, Liverpool lost 1-0 to Italian champions Inter Milan but progressed to the quarter finals with an aggregate score of 2-1.
On Wednesday, Man City played a goalless draw against Sporting Lisbon in a game that seems like a walk over for the English champions who won the first leg 5-0.
Pep Guardiola rested most of his first team players in the game, he handed 36 year old Ben Carson his first UCL appearance since 2005, the City manager also handed European debut to teenage fullback Conrad Egan-Riley.
The biggest game in the UCL saw Real Madrid who hosted PSG at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid.
Los Blancos came from behind to win the game 3-1 after PSG took the lead through a first half goal from French forward Kylian Mbappe.
With the game looking to go in the hands of PSG, Karim Benzema provided moments of magic for Real Madrid, completing a quick second half hattrick to take the Spanish champions into the quarter finals.
The 4 teams that qualified this week, will have to wait for the other games to be completed next week before the UCL quarter final draws on Friday match 18th.
