European governing body UEFA has decided the venue of the reverse fixture of the Champions League after the tournament was halted by the outbreak of coronavirus.

Manchester City will host Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium, Barcelona host Napoli at the Camp Nou, while Bayern Munich and Juventus will host Chelsea and Lyon, in Germany and Italy, respectively.

UEFA have also decided that the rest of the competition, including the final eight in Lisbon, will be played behind closed doors.

The stadium of Porto and Guimaraes was offered for the second legs, but European football’s governing body opted for the teams to play the return legs in their Stadiums.

UEFA is prepared to ensure adequate health protocol to offer the teams an enabling environment with minimal possible risk.

The case of the Europa League is quite different as two of the first leg games – Roma vs Sevilla and Inter vs Getafe – have yet to be played.

They will take place in a one-legged tie in a neutral venue on August 5 and 6.

Meanwhile, the rest of the matches will be held at the home grounds of the teams that played as visitors back in March.
