The Super Eagles duo of Victor Osimhen and Joe Aribo have both assured of their best performances once given the chance to feature in the double-header against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in the qualifying series for the Africa Cup Nations.
Both Aribo and Osimhen were missing in action when the Super Eagles played friendly games against Tunisia and Algeria and both have expressed delight to be back in the national team. Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Pinnick had to send a fresh flight ticket to Osimhen on Tuesday to enable the former Royal Charleroi to hit camp on Wednesday. Osimhen is AFCON qualifiers highest goalscorer with three goals and two assists, thus making him one of the most dependable and dreaded strikers in African football at the moment.
