Many people numbering thousands packed into a water park to attend an electronic music festival over the weekend in the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the Coronavirus first emerged late last year.
The party took place at Maya Beach Water Park on Saturday, August 15, in the Chinese city of some 11 million residents.
Photos and videos from the crowded pool party show partygoers without face masks as they failed to observe social distancing.
Since the city’s strict 76-day lockdown was lifted in April, Wuhan hasn’t reported any new coronavirus cases since May, according to BGR.
