Two of the biggest female African music stars to come out of Nigeria are Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage. To conclude that the two are friendly, at least in the eyes of their respective fan bases, would be a difficult decision.
Though it may seem faulty, this is the basis upon which their throngs of admirers are basking—the notion of a rivalry between the two singers.
But when Alade warned an overly enthusiastic fan on X (previously Twitter) to stop trash-talking her Nigerian counterpart, she might have done enough to put an end to any rumors of a bitter rivalry between her and Savage.
