The global sports community has been dealt a great blow as incoming reports indicate that Football icon Diego Maradona has passed away aged 60.
It is understood that Maradona died after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest on Wednesday.
Maradona underwent surgery earlier this month to remove a blood clot from his brain and was already out to undergo rehabilitation outside the hospital.
