Espanyol boss Abelardo Fernandez has revealed that in the Calatan club they have had ‘ten cases’ of coronavirus infection.

“At Espanyol, we have had ten cases, eight from players and two from the coaching staff,” the coach explained to Cope’s ‘Playing time’.
Last month, Espanyol officially confirmed 6 positive coronavirus cases and now the figure rises up to 10.
Abelardo also acknowledges that “if we play again, it has to be done with guarantees for everyone. It will not be easy after two months, with the players training at home, because not everyone has a gym or space to do it in the best conditions.”
