Super Eagles Kelechi Iheanacho gets his favourite jersey number at Leicester City ahead of the 2019-2020 season.
The 22-year-old Nigeria international, who endured a torrid campaign with the Foxes last term, has been in fine form for the 2015–16 Premier League champions in their pre-season so far after scoring three goals in the back-back friendly tie against Rotherham and Cambridge United to end ten-months goal drought.
According to Leicester City official website claims that summer signing Youri Tielemans will take up Iheanacho previous number eight shirt, with the latter now to put on the number 14 he has worn regularly on the international scene with three-time Africa Champions.Last season, Ricardo Pereira donned the number 14 shirt but has switched to number 21 for the new season who regains a jersey he has worn for Portugal, FC Porto and OGC Nice during his career, while Ayoze Pérez takes the No.17 shirt he wore at Newcastle United, from whom he joined this summer.
