Six kidnapped female students from the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State have been freed by the Nigerian Army.
It was unclear if any more students had been taken hostage by terrorists on Friday morning from their dorms.
According to TVCNews, the Nigerian Army’s Operation Hadarin Daji freed the abducted pupils.
During the rescue effort, some terrorists were reportedly slain by the military.
Additionally found were operational motorcycles, one AK-47 gun, and other terrorists’ property.
