Rivers State Government kicks off the free bus scheme which will cover Port Harcourt, Oyigbo, Eleme and Obio Akpor LGAs in this first phase.
The 28 buses released are part of support given by the Rivers State Government to cushion the effect of COVID-19 in the state.
The Honourable Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim and his Transport counterpart, Hon. Sam Soni Ejekwu, enjoy a ride together in the free bus.
The main criterion for accessing the bus is compulsory use of face mask.
