Super Eagles star Chidozie Awaziem became a father for the first time and couldn’t contain his joy as he shared the adorable picture with his fans via instagram.
The 23-year-old centre-back finished the 2019/2020 Spanish season on loan at Leganes, playing alongside compatriot Kenneth Omeruo.
Awaziem revealed the child’s name as Christel in his post, he wrote: “I can’t explain the way I feel right now, thank you God for giving me Christel, Latest dad in town.”
The Nigerian made 29 appearances in all competitions for Leganes but at the end of the campaign Javier Aguirre’s men were relegated.
Awaziem has returned to FC Porto where he is expected to fight for first team shirt after gaining the required experience from his season long loan spell with Leganes in Spain.
