Chairman, Osun State Basketball Association, Engineer Opeyemi Babalola, has declared that he is satisfied with his impact on basketball so far.
career both locally and Internationally playing for the likes of Kwara Falcons, Dodan Warriors and the University of Aberdeen Basketball teams, before saying goodbye to focus solely on his career as an engineer.
While chatting with journalists on a popular Whatsapp Sports Group, Football United by Football, the certified Engineer said “For me not playing professional basketball in the NBA or for the Tigers does not mean that I am not fulfilled or (I) have regrets.”
“I feel everyone has got his role to play in this industry and I’m satisfied that I can still make positive impact in Nigeria basketball system. Now I am into the fabrication of Basketball equipment for over five years now and I am happy about my achievements.” He explained.
